Now that we have gone from ten to six candidates for City Council, I invite all of you to take a close look at each of us before deciding who to cast your vote for on November 6th. Now is the time to decide who will stand for the issues and fight for the services you most value in this city where you have chosen to live and raise your family. There are only 5 City Council members, which can sometimes create situations where one member may disagree with the other four. Please pick a candidate that will not be afraid to be the lone dissenter, if that dissent represents what is best for Farmington. Choose a candidate that will listen, study the issues, and ask the right questions without feeling pressured to make a premature decision. Campaign for those who represent the entire city with a broad enough perspective to see that all issues affect ALL of Farmington. Please elect someone who will put personal feelings aside in order to make the right decisions for the most people.
