Tauna Homer gives this report about the efforts to get residents registered to vote:

Thought you would be interested to see what our efforts netted as of July 24th.

We identified 372 dwellings, housing 558 unregistered voters. Tomorrow I will turn in registrations for 184. That is 32.79% of the targeted, unregistered voters.

We could have done better, but we handed out more forms than this and people have failed to return them. When we actually found people at home, we did pretty well. Evenings were best.
